Maharajas Tutorial College

Our tutorial college is situated at Mukkola in the Mullur area. We are very close to Mukkola Junction, which makes it easy for the students who take the bus. The building itself is quite old and has that lived-in feel to it. Inside, we have rooms filled with wooden benches that have seen many years of use. We teach a variety of subjects here for students who need that extra bit of help outside of their regular school hours. It is a very straightforward place. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or fancy lounges. It is just classrooms with blackboards or whiteboards and fans that rattle a little bit. During the exam season, the place is packed from morning until late at night. You can hear the teachers talking and the scratching of pens on paper. It gets a bit dusty because of the wind coming off the road, but we just sweep it out and keep going. The students usually hang out by the junction during their breaks to get a snack or some juice. We know most of them by name because they are from the local families around here. It is a humble spot where the main goal is just to get through the syllabus. We don't put on any acts; it is just a place for learning and getting ready for those big tests that come every year. It is a lot of work, but we stay busy.
