Kinglet School

Our school is located down Mukkolakkal Lane in the Manacaud area of Thiruvananthapuram. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze in the lane, especially when parents are dropping their kids off in the morning. The building is right there in the middle of a residential neighborhood, so it feels more like a house than a big institution. We have a small staff and we all know the names of almost every student who walks through the door. The humidity in Trivandrum can be a lot, so we’re always making sure the fans are working in the classrooms. There isn’t a huge amount of space, but we make do with what we have. You’ll often find us rearranging the chairs or trying to find more storage for the art supplies and books. The office is usually a bit chaotic with papers piled up on the desks. We don’t have a lot of big fancy equipment, just the essentials for teaching and keeping the place clean. Sometimes the neighbors complain if the kids get too loud during recess, so we try to keep an eye on that. It’s a very local operation, and most of us have been working here for years. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on the daily routine of classes and making sure the building is locked up properly at the end of the day. It is just a normal school doing its thing in a busy neighborhood.
