Jkjlp Organic Farms operates out of Flat 10G in the Heera Central Apartments. You can find us at Pattom P.O. It might seem strange to run an organic farm business from an apartment building, but it works for the way we handle things. We do all the management and the planning from here. From the tenth floor, you can see quite a bit of the city. We spend our time talking to the farmers who actually grow the organic stuff on our land outside the city. Pattom is a central spot, so it’s easy for us to get around and meet people. Our apartment is filled with samples of grain and different organic products we are testing. It’s a bit cluttered sometimes, but we know where everything is. We are just a few people who wanted to make organic food more accessible. We don't have a big warehouse here, just our computers and some storage for samples. Most of our day is spent coordinating deliveries and checking on the quality of the latest harvest. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. The Heera Central Apartments are quite modern, which is a big contrast to the muddy fields. But having the office here works for us. We can manage the logistics without having to be on the farm every hour. We started this because we wanted better food for ourselves. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a home-based office.
