Down in Poovachal, specifically in the Kottakkuzhi area, is where you will find us. The office is inside the Grama Panchayat limits, at Pp Xix/352A. It’s a group of us working together on farming things. We look at how the plants and the land work together. It’s not just about throwing seeds in a hole. We try to keep things natural. Some days the office is full of people talking about the next harvest or how the bugs are affecting the greens. It gets quite loud and busy. We are a producer company, which means a lot of different hands are involved. Everyone has a different opinion on how to do things, but we manage. Poovachal is a decent place for this kind of work. The land is okay, and the people know their way around a garden. We spend a lot of time visiting different plots. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up on the desk because we’d rather be outside. It’s not a shiny corporate building. It’s just a place where we organize the logistics. We have been here for a bit now. People know where the Kottakkuzhi spot is. We don’t try to act bigger than we are. We just want the food to grow well without hurting the ground. It’s a slow process sometimes. You can’t rush the soil. That’s just how it is here.
