Cindrebay School Of Fashion & Interior Design

Our school is on the 7th floor of Carmel Tower on Cotton Hill Road in Vazhuthacaud. It is right across from Cottonhill School, so the area gets quite busy when the school day starts and ends. Up on the 7th floor, though, it is mostly just us. We deal with a lot of fabric, floor plans, and color charts every day. It is a workspace where things are constantly moving around. You might find some threads on the floor or a half-finished interior model sitting on a table. We are not interested in looking like a corporate headquarters. We just want a space that actually works for people who are designing things. The view from our windows is actually pretty good; you can see a fair bit of Thiruvananthapuram from up here. We spend our hours talking about textures and how different rooms should feel. It is a real mix of people here. Some are very quiet and stay focused on their drawings, while others like to talk through their ideas loudly. We do not follow a rigid corporate script. If a student has a question, we just sit down and talk about it until it makes sense. It is honest, practical work. We try to keep the equipment in good shape, but the place definitely feels lived-in and used. It is a place for people who want to get their hands into fashion and interior design. We just show up every day and do our thing.
