Aswathy Flour Mill

Our mill is located at 7896 on Panvel Road in Nemom. It’s a handy spot because it’s right on the main road. We’ve been grinding grain here for quite some time. The building is an old one, but it does the job. You can hear the machines running from the street sometimes. It’s a dusty place, as you’d expect from a flour mill. We spend our days hauling bags of wheat and rice to the grinders. It’s heavy work and it keeps us fit. We don't have a big team, just a few local guys who know the machines inside and out. People from the neighborhood come by to get their flour fresh. We don't have any fancy packaging or big branding. It’s just good, plain flour in simple bags. We like it that way. The rhythm of the mill is something we are all used to. When the power goes out, which happens sometimes, the silence is almost strange. We don't bother with marketing or trying to sound like a big company. We are just a local mill on Panvel Road. We’ve seen Nemom change over the years, but the way we grind flour stays pretty much the same. It’s a basic business, and we are happy to keep it going. If you stop by, you’ll probably find us busy with the latest batch of grain. We keep things moving and don't make a fuss.
