Our business, Vallavan Merchant Exporter, is located at W3 76a on Muniappan Kovil Street in Pallavarayanpatty. It’s a bit of a journey to get out here to Pannaipuram in the Uthamapalayam taluk, but we like the quiet of the area. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite a while now. The building is simple and serves its purpose well. Most of our days are spent coordinating with local farmers and suppliers to get the products we need. It involves a lot of driving around and talking to people face to face. We don’t really use fancy apps or high-tech systems for everything. A lot of our planning still happens on paper or through simple phone calls. It’s a slower pace of life here compared to the big cities, but the work is still demanding. We have to make sure every batch of goods is up to the standard we expect before we send it off. There’s no big team of managers here; it’s just us doing the sourcing and the shipping. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or dusty roads, but that’s just how it is in this part of the country. We take pride in just getting the job done without making a big fuss about it. We’re part of the village life, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. It's just simple, straightforward work that keeps us connected to our roots.
