Masi Exports

Down in Kamayakoundanpatti, on Karumaripuram Street, you’ll find us at No. 13-2-154 A/2. It’s a bit of a long address, but it’s easy enough to find once you’re on the right road. Masi Exports isn't a big corporate operation. We’re just a small group of people working out of a practical space. The neighborhood is quiet compared to the big cities, which we prefer. Most of our work involves managing the export side of things, which keeps us busy from early morning until the sun starts to go down. We have a small yard where things get loaded, and sometimes the neighbors' goats wander near the gate. It’s that kind of place. We don’t use any fancy software for everything; a lot of it is still written down in ledgers because that’s how we’ve always done it. It works for us, so we don't see a reason to change. The office gets a nice breeze in the afternoons if we leave the windows open, though we have to watch out for the dust. We take our breaks together and talk about things other than work. It keeps the atmosphere friendly. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our jobs well and make sure the goods get where they need to go. It’s straightforward work for straightforward people.
