Sri Palaniappa Traders

Sri Palaniappa Traders is located at 93 2 on the P C Patti Main Road. Being on the main road means there is never a dull moment. There is a constant sound of trucks and buses going by. We are mostly a trading business, so our space is filled with stacks of goods that change depending on the week. Some days it’s bags of grain, other times it might be hardware or construction supplies. We have a large open front so it’s easy to move things in and out. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks, but it holds up under the heavy loads. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to drivers who are dropping things off. It’s a lot of manual work, moving pallets and counting boxes to make sure the numbers match the invoices. We have a small corner with a fan and a couple of chairs for when we need a break. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the water jug full and keep working. We’ve been at this location for a while now and we know the other business owners along the road. We help each other out when someone needs a hand with a heavy lift. It’s a straightforward, no-nonsense kind of place. We just focus on getting the trade done and keeping the inventory moving.
