Sri Chandra Gupta Maurya International School

Sri Chandra Gupta Maurya International School is situated on the Theni Kumuli Main Road in Upparpatti. It’s at number 43/1 A. Being on the main road makes it convenient for the buses and the parents who live further out. The view around here is quite good with the hills in the distance, which is a nice change from the city. The school is an international one, but it still feels like a local place because of the staff and the kids who come from nearby villages. We have a decent-sized building and some space for the kids to run around during their breaks. It gets a bit windy sometimes because of the location. We spend a lot of time just managing the daily stuff, like making sure the water tanks are full and the classrooms are swept. It’s not always perfect; sometimes a door squeaks or a light needs changing, but we deal with it as it comes. The students are a mix of all sorts of backgrounds. We try to keep things moving along according to the calendar. It’s a long day for most of us, especially with the commute on the Kumuli road, but we’re here every morning ready to go. It’s just a solid, working school in a nice part of Theni. We do our best to keep everything running as smoothly as possible.
