Kendriya Vidyalaya School

Kendriya Vidyalaya School is located on Thenkarai Road in Periyakulam. It is a familiar spot for anyone living in this part of town. The school sits back a bit from the road, with a gate that sees a lot of action every morning and afternoon. We have a fairly standard setup for a school of this type, with long corridors and rows of classrooms that look out over the grounds. Periyakulam is a pleasant place, and the air here feels a bit fresher than in the bigger cities. On Thenkarai Road, you see a mix of local traffic and people going about their daily business. The school follows a very disciplined schedule, which is something people expect from us. We have a playground that gets quite a bit of use, though the grass is often worn down in the spots where the kids play football the most.
