The Cumbum Valley School

If you find yourself on LF Road in Cumbum, you’ll eventually pass by number 214. That is where we are, The Cumbum Valley School. It’s a local spot that has been part of the neighborhood for quite some time now. Cumbum is a nice area, and being right on the main road makes it easy for parents to drop off their kids and get on with their day. The school itself is a practical building, designed to get the job done. We have the usual classrooms and a bit of space for the kids to run around when they aren't stuck at their desks. Our staff mostly lives nearby, so we all know the area pretty well. It gets a bit hectic around 8:30 in the morning and again in the afternoon when the bell rings, but that’s just part of being a school. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles, just the basics that you need for teaching and learning. The 625516 zip code is where we call home, and we feel like a real part of the community here. There is always something that needs fixing or a room that needs a fresh coat of paint, but we manage. We just focus on the daily stuff—checking attendance, making sure the chalkboards are clean, and keeping the kids on track. It is honest work and keeps us busy from Monday to Friday. We enjoy it.
