Single Field Tea

Our place is located at 3/219 in Thinniyur Village, which is under the Aravenu Post in The Nilgiris. It is a quiet part of the world compared to the big cities. Single Field Tea is what we call our little operation here. The air is usually a bit cooler because of the hills, which makes the work a bit easier most days. We spend a lot of our time just looking after things around the property. The house number 3/219 is easy enough to spot if you are walking through the village lanes. It is a lot of green around us, and sometimes the mist comes down so thick you can hardly see the next building. We mostly keep to ourselves and focus on the day-to-day chores that need doing. There is always something to fix or a corner that needs cleaning. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. It is just a regular house where we do our tea work. People in the village know us, and we see the same faces every day when we are out and about. Life moves a bit slower here in the Nilgiris, and we have gotten used to that pace over the years. We start early when the birds are still loud and usually finish up before it gets too dark. It is a simple way of living and working, which suits us just fine.
