Manjoor Indco Tea Factory Ltd.

You can find the factory at Plot No. 7/24, right on Sunflower Illam Main Road in Manjoor. It’s a big, functional building that stands out a bit in the local area. Since we are a tea factory, the whole place is built around the machinery and the space needed to process the leaves. It’s a noisy place when everything is running, with the hum of the dryers and the sorting machines going all day long. We have a lot of people coming and going, especially the farmers who bring in their green leaves every morning. The road outside, Sunflower Illam, is usually busy with tractors and trucks during the harvesting times. Inside, the air is warm and smells strongly of fermented tea, which is actually quite nice once you get used to it. Our office is just a small corner of the building where we keep the records and handle the payments. It’s not fancy at all—just some desks, chairs, and a lot of ledgers. Most of the staff live nearby in Manjoor, so it’s a local operation through and through. We don't spend money on big signs or decorations because the factory is really just about the production. It’s hard work and the days can be quite long when the tea is coming in fast, but it’s what we know. The factory has been a part of this road for a long time.
