Our factory is located at Plot No.17 in the Co-Operative Colony. It is a practical sort of place where we focus on the work at hand. We have been processing tea here for a number of years and have seen the industry go through plenty of ups and downs. The building itself is quite plain, just a functional space filled with the smell of drying leaves. We have a small team of workers who know the machines inside out. Most of them live close by, so we feel like a tight-knit group. It is noisy during the day when everything is running, but we are used to it by now. We don’t have a big corporate office or a floor full of salespeople. Usually, I am just sitting at a wooden desk handling the logistics while the real work happens in the back. We get the raw leaves from the estates and spend the day making sure everything is handled properly. It is a lot of watching the clocks and checking the bins. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains too much, but that is just part of the tea business. We don't make big promises or use fancy words to describe what we do. We just try to get the product out on time and keep the machines maintained. It is a steady way to make a living, and we take pride in just getting it done.
