Blue Spark Tea

Our shop is at 84, Ooty Main Road. We are quite close to Orange Pekco, which most people around here know as a landmark. Being on the main road means we see a lot of cars and buses going past all day. Blue Spark Tea is just what we call ourselves while we work. It’s a pretty basic setup. We have our storage in the back and a small space in the front. Ooty is a beautiful place, though it gets quite chilly in the mornings. We usually start the day with a hot drink and a look at the inventory. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a couple of us handling the tea. We get shipments in and we send them out. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult on the road, but we manage. We aren’t interested in being the biggest company out there. We just want to do our job and go home to our families. The people who stop by are usually locals or folks passing through on their way to the hills. We talk about the crops and the rain mostly. It’s a honest way to earn a living. We don't have any flashy signs or loud music. It’s just a quiet place on the road where tea is the main thing on everyone’s mind. We like the pace of life here. It’s steady and predictable most of the time, which is good enough for us.
