A. Shenbaha Exports & Imports is tucked away at No. 2/ 212 Mettupatti Colony Street in Kurungulam Melpathi. It’s a bit of a quiet area, which we actually like. It gives us the space to focus on what we are doing without too many distractions. We’ve been here for a while, and the locals in the colony know us well. We handle both exports and imports from this little office. It’s not a massive warehouse or anything, just a practical workspace. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and trying to figure out shipping schedules. It’s a lot of logistical work, to be honest. Sometimes things go smoothly, and other times we are chasing down a late shipment. That’s just the nature of this business. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to get through the day’s tasks and make sure our clients are getting what they need. It’s a small operation, so everyone has to pitch in. I might be doing the books in the morning and helping pack crates in the afternoon. We like the pace of life here in Kurungulam Melpathi. It’s steady and predictable. We’ve got a good routine going now. We just open up, make some coffee, and start going through the emails. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s ours and we’re proud of it. It works for us and that is the main thing.
