We’ve been running Your Choice Gifts And Cards for a while now. We are tucked away in Shop No. 8 at the Saraswati Apartment. If you know Shankarrao Chowk Road in Kalyan City, you’ve probably passed by our door many times. It’s a small place, honestly. We have shelves full of cards for all kinds of things like birthdays, weddings, and those little moments that people want to remember. Thane is a busy area, and Kalyan can get pretty crowded too, especially on the weekends. We aren't some big chain store with a huge budget. It’s just us here. We spend a lot of time organizing things and helping people find that one specific card they are looking for. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of stock, but that’s just how it is. We like being part of the neighborhood. Most of the folks living in Saraswati Apartment are regulars by now. We don’t do a lot of fancy talking. We just open up the shop and see who comes in today. It’s a simple business. We deal with gift items too, nothing too extravagant, just items that people might like to give to their friends. It keeps us busy and we like the rhythm of it. We’ve seen the streets outside change over the years, but we’re still here at the same spot doing what we do every day.
