Vidyarth Tutorials

Vidyarth Tutorials is up on the second floor of the Sukh Sagar Building in Dombivli West. We are in Room No 12, which is not a very large space but we make it work for our classes. Dombivli is a crowded place, and being near the station means there is always a lot of movement around our building. People coming for tuitions usually take the stairs up since the building is older. The rooms have long benches and a few chairs for the teachers. We don't have a reception desk or a waiting lounge; parents usually just stand in the hallway if they need to talk to us. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few timetables pinned up here and there. It can get quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open, which lets in all the city noise. We mostly help students with their regular school subjects and board exams. It is a very simple operation run by a small group of people who have been doing this for years. We don't use projectors or fancy gadgets, just pens and paper. Most of the kids who come here live in the nearby buildings in Thane. It’s the kind of place where you come to put your head down and study for a couple of hours before heading home. The Sukh Sagar building itself is quite well known in this part of Dombivli West.
