Vedika Tutorials is over in Vastu Anand, which is on the Old Mumbai Pune Road in Kalwa. Specifically, we are in room 403/8. Parsik Nagar is a growing area, and there are a lot of new families moving in here. We started this place because we saw a need for local tuitions that didn't require kids to travel all the way to Thane station. The apartment is on the fourth floor, and we’ve set up a couple of rooms for teaching. It’s nothing fancy, just some desks, chairs, and a blackboard. We spend our afternoons and evenings here with students from the nearby buildings. It gets a bit warm in the summers, but we have fans running all the time. The building is generally quiet during the day, which helps with concentration. We cover various subjects depending on what the students are struggling with in school. There isn't a huge administrative team; usually, it's just one of us handling the calls and the actual teaching. We keep a ledger to track attendance and fees. It’s a very manual process. Most of our students live within walking distance, so they just walk over after they’ve had their tea at home. We try to stay focused on the books and getting the exercises right. It’s a plain, honest space for learning without any extra fuss. The building has a lift, which helps when you're carrying a lot of books or heavy bags.
