If you head down to Vasai West, you’ll find Vedant Appliances in the Patel Industrial Estate. We are located in the Manik Pada area, which is near Umang Pharma and just opposite Vasai Phata. It's a bit of a trek if you're not from around here, but we are quite close to the BSNL Telephone Exchange in Anand Nagar. Our place is more of a warehouse and workshop than a shiny showroom. We handle all sorts of household appliances, mostly looking at things that have stopped spinning or heating up. The industrial estate is a busy place with trucks moving in and out all day. We have a lot of space here to keep spare parts and older models that we use for salvage. It’s a family-run kind of setup. We don't go in for corporate talk or big promises. We just look at the washing machine or the fridge and see what’s actually broken. Most of our work comes from people in Vasai who know we have the space and the tools to fix the bigger stuff. The air here is a bit salty because we aren't too far from the coast, which means appliances around here rust faster than usual. We spend a lot of time cleaning out vents and replacing corroded wires. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till the sun goes down over the industrial estate.
