Usha Dye Chem

Out on the Kalyan-Bhiwandi Road, you’ll find us at 766 (B) in the Raja Jeeva Compound. We are situated in Kon Village, which is a bit of a trek from the main city centers, but it suits what we do at Usha Dye Chem. The compound is usually full of activity, with people loading and unloading goods throughout the day. Our spot is pretty basic. We have a lot of storage space for the dyes and chemicals we handle, and a small corner for our desks. The road outside is always busy with heavy traffic, so it can be quite a struggle to get in and out during peak hours. We’ve been here long enough that we know all the shortcuts through Bhiwandi. It’s a very practical environment. We don't have any air conditioning in the main area, just some big fans that move the air around. We deal with a lot of local textile businesses and printers who need materials. It's not the kind of job where you wear a suit. We’re usually in comfortable clothes that we don't mind getting a bit of dye on. We keep a ledger for everything and try to stay on top of the orders as they come in. Kon Village has a different feel than the city, a bit more grounded and slower in some ways, despite the truck traffic. It’s just where we do our business.
