Our place is at unit 190 in the B T Compound, which is part of the old Bombay Talkies area in Malad West. Being part of the old movie studio grounds gives the place a lot of history, though nowadays it is just a very busy industrial spot. We’ve been here quite a while, and the shop has basically become our second home. Don’t expect a shiny office with air conditioning when you visit. Inside, it's a real working shop where we handle tools and technical equipment every day. There is always a layer of dust on the shelves and that distinct smell of machine oil in the air, but that is just how we like it. The compound gets incredibly crowded with trucks and delivery vans, especially in the afternoons when everyone is trying to move goods. Sometimes it feels like we are squeezed in, but we make it work regardless of the space. Most of the crew here has been with us for years and they know the machines better than anyone. Advertising isn't really our thing and we don't have a sales team. Word of mouth is how most people find us. Our day is mostly spent just getting through the orders and making sure everything is sorted. It gets loud and a bit chaotic with all the banging and grinding, but it is our life. We do not have any big corporate plans. Keeping the doors open and doing right by the people who walk in is enough for us.
