Our place is located on M.G. Road in Ambernath, which is a bit of a trek if you are coming from central Mumbai. The Dharamsi Morarji Chemicals Co. Ltd. has a long history in this area, and the site itself reflects that. It is a big industrial space with various buildings and structures spread out. When you walk through the gate, you immediately get a sense of how much goes on here. There is always the sound of machinery or trucks moving things around. We deal with chemicals, so safety is just a normal part of the day-to-day routine. The offices are tucked away in one of the older blocks on the property. They aren't very modern, but they serve their purpose well enough for the team to handle the administrative side of things. Most of the staff here have been around for quite a while, so there is a lot of experience walking through the halls. Ambernath is a real working-class town, and we fit right into that vibe. There is no pretense here. We just come in, put on our gear, and get through the production schedule. The weather can get quite hot in the summer, making the work a bit tougher, but we just manage. It is a massive facility, and it takes a lot of coordination to keep everything running smoothly. We are just one of the many industries along M.G. Road that keeps the local economy moving.
