The Dharamsi Morarji Chemical Co.Ltd. is situated at W-98 in the MIDC Additional Ambernath area. This is a big industrial zone, so we are surrounded by other plants and factories of all sizes. Our place is full of pipes, tanks, and the various sounds of chemical processing. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear your best clothes because there is always a bit of dust or something in the air. Safety is a big thing for us, so you’ll see everyone in boots and gear. We’ve been here in Ambernath for a long time, and the MIDC has grown up around us. The work we do is very routine, checking gauges, monitoring the flow of liquids, and making sure the chemicals are mixed correctly. We don’t have a lot of time for fancy talk; we just focus on the production targets and keeping the machines running. The office part of the building is pretty basic, just desks and computers to keep track of the logistics. It can get very hot during the day, especially near the processing units, but that is just part of the environment. We are just one part of the large industrial landscape here, doing our job day after day without much fuss. We finish our shifts, clean up, and head home to do it all again tomorrow.
