Tekno Filters (India)

We are located at R-44/1 in the MIDC area of Rabale. This is part of the TTC Industrial Area in Navi Mumbai. It’s a place where everyone is making something. We make filters here. Our shop is just a big open space with a lot of metal sheets and mesh rolls. It’s not a clean environment. There’s metal dust and the smell of welding everywhere. We have a few old lathes and cutting machines. They make a lot of noise. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy entrance. You just walk through the main shutter. We spend our time measuring and cutting to get the sizes right. Every filter is a bit different. We have a small group of workers who know how to handle the materials. We drink tea twice a day and talk about the orders. The office is just a cabin made of plywood in one corner. We keep the drawings and the invoices there. It gets very hot in Rabale during the summer months. We just keep the fans going and try to stay cool. We don't have a marketing team. Most of our clients are other factories in the MIDC. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. We just focus on making things that fit and work correctly. It’s simple, honest manufacturing work and we are proud to do it.
