Technical Recruiter

We’ve been around Mumbai for a while now, specifically over here in the 400612 area. It’s a busy spot but we like it. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and looking through papers to find people who actually know how to code or handle tech stuff. It isn’t always easy. People move around a lot in this city. We just sit here in our office and try to match folks with jobs that don’t make them miserable. Sometimes it works out perfectly, sometimes it takes a bit longer than we’d like. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It's just a few desks and some computers. My tea gets cold while I'm talking to candidates, which happens more often than I'd care to admit. Mumbai is loud outside, but in here we just focus on the work. We get all sorts of people coming through or calling us up. Some have great resumes, others need a bit of help explaining what they can actually do. We don't promise anyone the moon. That's just not how things work. We just look at what a company needs and see if we have someone on our list who fits the bill. It's straightforward work, really. No need to make it sound like more than it is. We’re just here in Mumbai doing the recruiting thing day after day. It keeps us busy and the rent gets paid. We don't do much else besides this.
