Sulzer Pumps

Working out here in the M.I.D.C. area of Thane Belapur Road can be a bit of a trek every morning. We’re located over in Digha, near the Airoli Node. It’s a huge industrial zone, and there’s always a lot of activity with trucks and heavy machinery moving around. At Sulzer Pumps, we spend most of our time focused on the engineering side of things. It’s a big facility, but it doesn’t feel like a cold corporate place once you’re inside the gates. Most of the staff have been here for years, and we all know each other’s names. We deal with heavy-duty pumps, which means there’s always something being tested or repaired in the bay. It gets noisy, especially when the big units are running, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have much time for fancy talk or marketing slogans. We just look at the specs and make sure the equipment does what it’s supposed to do. The humidity around Airoli can be tough, but the canteen tea helps us get through the afternoon. We take care of our machines and the people who run them. It’s about getting the technical details right every single day. If you walk through the floor, you’ll see people checking tolerances and looking at pressure gauges. We just want to make sure every pump we send out is reliable and ready for use.
