S.N. Joshi Consultant Pvt. Ltd, Pune

We are tucked away in Dombivali at Namdevsmurti. Our office is 101/A on the first floor. It is on Nandivali Road, which can be quite a nightmare during rush hour with all the traffic. S.N. Joshi Consultant has been operating from this Mumbai address for a while now. Most people expect us to be in Pune because of the company name, but this is where we do a lot of the actual work. The building itself is just a standard residential and commercial mix. Inside our unit, it is pretty plain. We have some old desks and a few computers that have seen better days. There are files stacked on the floor because we ran out of shelf space months ago. It isn't a flashy place at all. We don't have a receptionist sitting at the front. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. We spend most of our time on the phone or looking over various documents. The fan in the corner makes a clicking sound that we’ve all just learned to ignore. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit around and talk until it comes back on. It is a simple life here. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby or free snacks. We just come in, do the consulting work that needs doing, and head home. The tea stall downstairs is where we get our morning start. It is a very local way of doing things.
