Our place is located at R-672 in the TTC Industrial Area, right there on Pipe Line Road. If you know Rabale, you know how busy this stretch can get with all the trucks and the dust. Silver Rain Exports has been operating out of this building for a bit now. It’s a big space, which is good because we always have crates and boxes waiting to go somewhere. The air conditioning in the main office works most of the time, but we usually keep the windows shut because of the noise from the road outside. It’s mostly just a lot of logistics and checking lists. We have a small crew and we’ve all been working together for a while. There’s a tea stall just down the road that everyone likes, so someone is usually heading out to grab a round for the office. We don’t do anything too fancy here. It’s about making sure the labels are right and the boxes are taped up well before they head out. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, which can be a pain when we’re trying to track shipments. The warehouse floor is concrete and has a few cracks, but it holds up fine. We just keep our heads down and try to get the work finished by five or six so everyone can get home before the traffic gets really bad on the way out.
