Our office is at number 2 in the Thakur Complex, which you can find on the Pune Saswad Road in Hadapsar. We are right across the road from the Suruchi Hotel, which is a very handy landmark because most people around here know exactly where that is. The road outside is always busy with trucks and buses heading towards Saswad, so there is a constant hum of engines in the background. We have been doing estate and investment consulting from this spot for a good while. The office is a bit small and we have to be careful not to trip over the boxes of files we have stacked in the corner. It is a very simple setup with a few tables and a water cooler that makes a loud glugging sound every now and then. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know the Hadapsar area inside and out. The walls are a bit bare because we haven't gotten around to putting up any pictures yet. Sometimes the dust from the main road gets into the office, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass. It is a straightforward place where we talk to people about their money and their homes. We don’t use any complicated jargon or try to sound more important than we are. We just sit here, drink our tea, and try to help out whoever walks through the door during the day.
