Shiv Shambhu Hindi Vidyalaya

Our school is located in the Ashelepada neighborhood of Ulhasnagar Number 4. Being in Thane, it’s a very crowded and lively area with a lot going on. We are a Hindi medium school, so we mostly serve the families who prefer that language for their children’s education. The building is a simple one, squeezed right in the middle of a busy street. It can get quite noisy outside with all the traffic, horns, and people, but we’ve all gotten used to it over the years. We have basic classrooms with benches and old-fashioned chalkboards. We don’t have a lot of extra money for fancy things or modern technology, so we focus almost entirely on the teaching itself. The teachers here are dedicated and they’ve been working in this community for a long time. They know the parents and the local struggles that families face. We see kids who are really eager to learn, and that makes all the effort worth it for us. Lunchtime is always a bit chaotic with everyone eating their tiffins in the hallways or the small courtyard. We don't use any corporate language or marketing talk because that’s just not who we are. We are just a neighborhood school trying to help the next generation in Ulhasnagar get a start in life. It’s honest, sometimes difficult work, but it’s what we do every day without fail. We just take things one lesson at a time and try to keep the kids focused on their studies.
