Shilpagriha Studio

Shilpagriha Studio is located in Shop No 1 on the ground floor of Prabhakar Apartment. We are right in Kalyan City, specifically beside Indira Hospital and near Gaondevi Chowk. It is a convenient spot because almost everyone knows where the hospital is. The studio is a modest space where we do our creative work. Being on the ground floor makes it easy to move things in and out, which is good because some of our stuff can be heavy or awkward to carry. The atmosphere inside is usually quite focused, though we do have the radio playing in the background sometimes. Gaondevi Chowk is a busy landmark, so there is a constant stream of people and rickshaws passing by our door. Our address in the 421301 area has been our base for some time now. We don't have any big brochures or fancy speeches about what we do. We just let the work speak for itself and handle things as they come. The shop can get a little dusty and we often have bits of material on the floor by the end of the day. It is just a part of the process. People from the neighborhood know us as the local studio next to the hospital. We keep our hours, do our tasks, and try to stay organized in our own way. It is a simple life and a simple business right here in the middle of Kalyan.
