Bape Decorators

It's just a small shop here at Pearl Apartment in Thane West. We've been at Shop No 1 for a while now. Most people know us because we're right opposite Masjid E Noor in 2nd Rabodi. It’s a busy spot. We handle different types of decorating stuff. Sometimes it's for a wedding, other times it's just someone wanting to fix up their living room. We spend a lot of time looking at fabrics and paints. It gets messy in the shop with all the samples lying around. People walk in from the street asking for advice on colors or how to set up a stage. We just try to get the job done right. It's not always fancy. Sometimes things run late or a supplier doesn't show up with the right shade of blue. We deal with it. My cousin helps out when we have big orders. We've stayed in this neighborhood because the community knows us. If you’re walking past the mosque, you’ll see our sign. It isn't a huge operation. We mostly use local workers who know the area well. Dealing with traffic in Thane is a headache when we're moving stuff to a site. But we make it work. We’ve painted a lot of the flats around here. Nothing too complicated, just honest work. We keep our tools in the back. Sometimes the shop feels cramped but it's home to us. That's pretty much what Bape Decorators is about.
