Persian Pilat

Vikas Complex on Kolbad Road is where we set up a while back. It’s right there in Khopat-Thane West, across from Rajshree Tower. Most days start early before the sun really hits the pavement outside. We spend a lot of time moving the mats around and making sure the floor is clean because people are constantly coming in and out. The area gets pretty busy around Thakkar Market, so there is always some noise from the street filtering in. It’s not a fancy place, just somewhere to come and get your movement in. Persian Pilat is tucked into the corner of the building. We’ve got the equipment lined up along the walls. Sometimes the fans make a bit of a clicking sound, but we just get used to it. The regulars know where everything is, so they just grab their stuff and start. It is mostly just us keeping things running every day. We see the same faces every week, which is nice. Sometimes someone gets lost looking for us near the tower, but once they find the complex, it is easy. We don't have a big front desk or anything, just a small space to keep bags. Running a fitness spot in Thane means you deal with the humidity and the rain, but the roof stays dry. We just focus on the sessions and getting through the schedule. It is a simple life here in Khopat. We keep it practical and don't worry about being too perfect for anyone.
