Sharanam Dental Clinic

Sharanam Dental Clinic is tucked away in Shop No 3 of the Vijay Garden Complex. We are right on Ghodbunder Road, which is always packed with cars going back and forth. If you pass by Suraj Water Park and keep going toward Kavesar, you’ll find us easily. The clinic isn't very big, but we keep it tidy. I spend a lot of time cleaning the dental tools and making sure the chair is comfortable for the next person. Looking out the window, you can see the commuters rushing by, but inside it’s mostly the sound of the drill or the hum of the air conditioner. We get a lot of people from the apartments in the complex who just walk over. Sometimes someone comes in with a swollen jaw and they’re in a lot of pain, so we have to fit them in quickly. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and leaning over patients. My hands get tired by the afternoon, but that’s the job. We don’t have a fancy receptionist; usually, whoever is free answers the phone or takes the payment at the front desk. It’s a straightforward operation. We use simple English to explain what’s going on with someone’s teeth because nobody likes complicated medical words. At the end of the day, we lock the glass door and head home, just like everyone else in the building. It’s a decent place to work and serve the local neighborhood.
