Shanair First Step International Pre School

Our preschool is located in the Celestial Apartment building on the Vasai-Nalasopara Link Road. It’s a very busy part of Nalasopara East, with plenty of traffic passing by all day long. Shanair First Step International Pre School isn't a massive campus; it’s a functional space within a residential complex. We have a few rooms dedicated to the different age groups. The sound of the traffic from the Link Road is always there, but we get used to it. The teachers spend their time organizing toys and setting up simple lessons for the little ones. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. It’s just about looking after the kids while their parents are at work. The space is a bit tight, so we have to be very organized with how we move from one activity to the next. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front of the building, making it quite bright. We have some cubbies for the children's bags and shoes near the entrance. The floor is usually covered in mats for when they need to sit and listen to a story. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes, especially during drop-off and pick-up times when the apartment entrance gets crowded. We just take it one day at a time, making sure everything is ready for the next morning. It is a busy life here in Palghar.
