Seaton Maritime Training Foundation

We’re based in Nerul, over at Plot No 6 in the Priyadarshan Cooperative Housing Society. Our office is Flat B-401, so we are up on the fourth floor. Navi Mumbai has grown a lot, but this area still feels like a neighborhood. Since we’re in a housing society, the building has a very lived-in feel to it. You have to sign in at the security gate before coming up the lift. Inside the flat, we’ve converted the rooms into workspaces. One room is full of files and manuals, and the main hall has our desks and a few chairs for when people stop by. It’s not a grand office by any means. The kitchen area is mostly used for making tea and storing water bottles. We have some windows that let in a good amount of light, though the view is just other buildings in the complex. It gets a bit lively in the evenings when people come home from work, but during the day it’s pretty quiet for us. We don’t have any big marketing displays or high-end furniture. Seaton Maritime Training Foundation is just a regular apartment where we handle all our business. Most of our day is spent on the phone or typing away at the computers. It’s a very practical setup that works for a small team like ours. We like being in Nerul because it’s easy enough for everyone to get to. There is a small park nearby where some of us go for a walk after we finish.
