Santosh Academy

Santosh Academy is located in Goregaon West, inside the Happy Home Society. Our specific address is 19/292 in Siddharth Nagar 4. It is a bit of a residential area, which makes it feel a little different from the big commercial plazas. Vivek College is the main landmark nearby, so most people just use that to find their way. The society itself has a lot of trees and a bit of open space, which is nice. Our room is on the ground level, so it’s easy to walk right in. It’s not a very big space, just enough for some benches and a small area for the staff to sit. The walls are a bit plain, and we have some charts pinned up here and there. It feels like a very local, neighborhood spot. Sometimes you can hear kids playing in the society grounds outside or the sound of someone’s television from a nearby flat. We’ve kept the setup very basic. There are no fancy glass partitions or leather chairs here. Just the usual wooden desks that have been around for years. The ceiling fans work well, which is important during the humid months in Mumbai. It is a quiet place for the most part, tucked away from the main Goregaon traffic. People usually just drop by if they live in the nearby buildings. It is a very humble and straightforward setup.
