Ria International

Our office, Ria International, is in C-18 of the Panchajanya building in Ramchandra Nagar. It is out in Dombivli East, which is a place where a lot of people live and travel from every day. Being in a residential area like this makes the work feel a bit more relaxed than being in the middle of the city. We don't have a big corporate sign or anything like that. It’s just a door in a quiet hallway. Inside, we have our computers and some maps on the wall since we deal with international trade. It’s funny to think that we’re sitting here in Dombivli talking to people in other countries, but that is how it works now. The office is small and we often have stacks of documents waiting to be processed for customs or shipping. We usually start the day with a cup of tea and a look at the latest emails. The building is older, so sometimes the plumbing acts up or the lights flicker, but we don't mind much. Most of the people here live within walking distance or a short rickshaw ride away. We aren't a massive firm with hundreds of employees. We’re just a small group trying to keep our clients happy and make sure the goods move across borders without too many problems. It can be stressful when a shipment is stuck, but we just take it one step at a time and figure it out. That's life here at Ria.
