Pratipa Cashews

Pratipa Cashews is set up on the second floor of the Kaushtubh building, which is on Plot 12/13 in Section 17 of Nandanvan, Nerul. Being in Nerul is convenient because it is a well-connected part of town. We deal with cashews, so the office usually smells a bit like nuts when we have samples sitting out. It is a functional space where we handle the buying and selling side of the business. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets, and a big table in the middle where we sort through different grades of cashews. The lighting in the building is a bit dim in the hallways, but our office gets plenty of sun during the day. We are not trying to be a fancy food brand; we just focus on moving good quality cashews from the farms to the customers. Most of the people working here have been in the cashew trade for a long time, so they know exactly what to look for in a batch. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and checking the latest market prices. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we get our exercise climbing up to the second floor. It is a regular office with regular people who just know a lot about nuts. We do not have a big marketing department or anything like that, just us doing the daily work and making sure the orders are right.
