Out here in Mankivilli, things move at their own pace. We are Platinum Polymers Pvt Ltd., located at F-1/3 in the Midc area of Kulgaon. The easiest way to find us is to look for the BSNL office because we are right near it. In fact, we mention the BSNL office twice in our address just to make sure people don't get lost when they visit. The MIDC is a dusty place, especially when the big trucks are rolling through. Our facility is a mix of office space and storage. It’s not very quiet because there is always some machine running or someone moving pallets around. We spend a lot of time checking the raw materials and looking over the production sheets. It’s hot work, especially in the summer months when the metal roof picks up all that heat. We usually have a few fans going, but they just move the warm air around. Still, we are used to it by now. Mankivilli is a bit far from the main city, so it feels a bit more relaxed once you get inside the gates. We have our tea breaks under the shade when we can. There isn't much to see around here except other factories and the BSNL building, but we have plenty of work to keep us occupied. We are just a group of people making sure the polymers are processed and ready to go out to the customers. It's plain and simple. We like it that way.
