Novel Sewing Machine Co

Novel Sewing Machine Co is based out of R/84, Ttc I.E. Midc Rabale. It’s an industrial estate, so there are a lot of similar-looking buildings all around us. We’ve been in this unit for a good bit of time. Inside, you’ll find sewing machines in various states—some are new, some are being fixed up, and some are just there for parts. It’s not a showroom by any means. It’s a workshop. There are threads and small metal bits on the floor sometimes, despite our best efforts to sweep up. We spend a lot of our time leaning over machines with small tools. It’s quiet work mostly, except when we’re testing a motor. The lighting in here isn't the best, but we have some extra lamps at the benches so we can see what we’re doing. People come to us from all over the Rabale area because they know we’ve been around. We don't do much in the way of advertising; word of mouth usually does the trick for us. Most of the staff here have been working with sewing machines since they were young. It’s a specific kind of skill, and we just do our best with it. The building gets a bit chilly in the winter, so we usually have a heater going in the corner. We just take things one day at a time, fixing what’s broken and selling what we can.
