Nicholas Piramal India Ltd

We are located in Flat 406, B Wing of the Neelkanth Apartments, over in Sector 42A of Nerul West, Navi Mumbai. It’s a nice enough place, right in the middle of a residential block. Being in Nerul means we are close to the station and all the main spots, but our actual office is quite tucked away. Nicholas Piramal India Ltd uses this space to manage our daily operations. It’s basically just a few of us in a flat, surrounded by files and computers. It’s not fancy at all. We don’t have a big lobby or a nameplate on the street, so you really have to know which building to look for. Working from an apartment means we have a kitchen and a bit of space to breathe, which is better than being stuck in a tiny cubicle. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on the computer, making sure all our records are straight. The pace of life in Navi Mumbai is fast, but we try to keep things manageable here. We don't have any mission statements or big goals posted on the walls. We just focus on making sure the work gets done correctly so nobody has to complain later. It’s a low-key way of doing business, but it’s worked for us for a long time now. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just keeping the business running smoothly and paying attention to the small stuff.
