Sonar Gali is where you will find our shop, New Raj Communication & Money Transfer, right opposite the Kohinoor Complex. Being near Siru Chowk in Ulhasnagar-2 means you are very close to us. People are always coming in to recharge their phones or send money back home to their families in this busy little spot. Seeing how much people needed a point for these things is why we started this place. Mostly just a counter and some stools for customers to wait on, the shop is small. Posters for different mobile networks are on the walls, and the sound of everyone talking at once makes it a bit loud. Only a couple of us who know how to handle the transfers quickly work here. When the network goes down, we have to ask people to wait, which can be frustrating, but we do our best. Having lived in Ulhasnagar for a long time, we know the area well. It’s a hard-working neighborhood. Because that's when most people finish their shifts and need to get their errands done, we stay open late. Big advertising isn't something we do. Just by walking through Sonar Gali, people see our sign. While it’s a simple business, it keeps us busy and we like helping out the locals. On a small TV behind the counter, we usually have the news playing.
