National Pharmacy Oman

National Pharmacy Oman is located in the Annapurna building, right on Arti Din Dayal Road in Anand Nagar, Dombivli West. Even though the name says Oman, we are right here in the heart of Dombivli. It is a very crowded area, especially during the morning and evening when everyone is heading to the station. Our pharmacy is small and packed with medicine boxes from floor to ceiling. We don't have much room for anything else. We spend our day standing behind the wooden counter, helping people who bring in their prescriptions. It gets very busy in the evenings when people are coming home from work. We have to be quick but careful not to mix anything up. Sometimes the rain in Mumbai makes it hard for people to get here, but we stay open regardless. We know most of the families who live in the apartments around here. They come in for everything from cough syrup to band-aids. We don't have a fancy computer system that does everything; we still do a lot of things by hand and keep our own notes. The light inside is a bit dim, and the shelves are a little dusty in the corners, but we know where everything is. It’s a local shop where we just try to be helpful to the people who live nearby. We don't have any big sales or gimmicks, just the medicines people need.
