Narayan Classes

People usually find us right by the Eastern Express Highway crossing in Thakkar Bappa Colony. It gets pretty loud with the trucks passing by, especially in the evenings when the classes are full. Narayan Classes has been here in Basant Nagar for a while now. We’ve got a bunch of rooms filled with wooden benches and whiteboards that have seen a lot of marker ink over the years. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning or anything like that. Most of the kids come from nearby parts of Bhiwandi and Thane after they finish their regular school day. They look tired when they walk in, but they sit down and get to work on their math or science. The lights flicker sometimes if the weather is bad. We keep a lot of old textbooks stacked up in the corner for anyone to borrow. The office is just a small desk near the door where parents come to talk about their kids' grades. It’s mostly just us teachers trying to explain things until everyone understands. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we go during the short breaks. We don't have a big playground, just the space out front where students park their cycles. It’s a busy spot in S.G. Barve Marg, and things can get a bit chaotic when one batch leaves and the next one arrives. We just focus on getting through the syllabus before the exams start.
