Najafi Agro Trading (Opc) Private Limited

If you go up to the eleventh floor of the Maple Building in Neelkanth Greens, you’ll find Najafi Agro Trading (Opc) Private Limited. Specifically, we’re in Flat No 1104, in the D1 wing. It’s a bit different running an agro business from a high-rise in Mulla Baug, Manpada. Usually, people expect us to be out in a field, but a lot of the trading happens on phones and screens these days. This is a one-person operation, mostly, which is why it’s an OPC. The view of Manpada from up here is actually pretty good, though the traffic down on the road looks like a mess most of the time. The apartment is mostly converted into a workspace with samples of grains and seeds sitting on the kitchen counter sometimes. It’s a busy life, keeping track of prices and making sure deliveries are moving across the state. Being in Neelkanth Greens means it’s a nice environment, but the work is still gritty. I spend a lot of time talking to transporters and warehouse managers. It’s not all fancy meetings. Sometimes the elevator is slow, or the courier guy gets lost in the building complex. I don’t have a big staff to help out, so I do everything from the bookkeeping to the actual trading. It’s a simple setup, just a desk, a laptop, and a lot of phone calls. It works for what I need to do.
