Our office is tucked away in Flat 102 of the Tulip housing society in Panvel. It’s a quiet residential area, which is a bit different from the usual business districts you see in Navi Mumbai. Blue Shore Ocean Foods Llp started because we wanted to do something real with the resources we have around here. Being in a residential building means we know our neighbors and we have to keep things fairly low-key so we don't disturb anyone. We aren't a big factory or a noisy warehouse. Most of what we do involves coordination and making sure things are moving as they should across the supply chain. Panvel is a good spot for us since it’s connected to so many different routes and ports. Sometimes the lift in the A wing is a bit slow or out of order, so we end up taking the stairs. It’s just part of the daily routine here. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby with modern art. If you come by, you’re basically walking into our workspace where files are stacked on every surface and phones are usually ringing with updates. We try to keep things honest and straightforward. Dealing with food products from the ocean requires a lot of attention to detail and very careful timing. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking delivery logs. It isn't very glamorous work, but it’s what we know how to do. We prefer it this way, without all those corporate layers. Just a small team in a flat, getting the job done.
