Motion Technique (India) Pvt. Ltd. is based at Plot A-45 in the Wagle Industrial Area in Thane. Our office and workshop are on the 3rd floor. You have to take the stairs or the freight lift if it is working that day. Road 10 is always full of trucks loading and unloading goods. It is a real industrial setting, with the smell of grease and the sound of metal being worked on coming from every building. We have been here for a while and the space is filled with our equipment and various components. It is not the cleanest place in the world, as there is always some oil or metal shavings around. We spend our days working on different mechanical techniques and parts. The sun hits the windows in the afternoon and makes the floor quite warm. We have a small desk area for the paperwork, but most of the action happens at the workbenches. We don't have any fancy posters or mission statements on the walls. It is just a place where we come to build and fix things. Most of the workers live nearby in Thane or commute from the surrounding suburbs. We take our breaks together and talk about the jobs we have lined up. It is a steady rhythm of work. We just keep doing what we do and try to get the parts out on time.
